The fine print

The boring, honest bits

We built this to save you a $60 ticket, not to collect your life story. Here's where the data comes from, what we keep, and who we are (nobody official).

Per City of Chicago data terms

This site provides applications using data that has been modified for use from its original source, www.cityofchicago.org, the official website of the City of Chicago. The City of Chicago makes no claims as to the content, accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any of the data provided at this site. The data provided at this site is subject to change at any time. It is understood that the data provided at this site is being used at one's own risk.

Not the City

A free, unofficial neighbor project. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by the City of Chicago. Contesting a ticket is between you and the City.

Where the data comes from

Schedules and zones come from the City's open data portal — the sweep schedule and zone polygons. Addresses use the City and U.S. Census geocoders.

What we keep

Just your email and the ward/section you pick. We don't store your street address, never sell your data, and only email about sweeping. Email runs on Resend, data on Supabase.

Leaving is easy

Every reminder has one-click unsubscribe, or manage your alerts any time. Unsubscribe and we stop emailing you and drop your subscription.

Use at your own risk

Schedules change, sweepers get rained out, and geocoders sometimes guess wrong. We do our best, but the posted signs on your block are the final word.
